Eliza Gray Gardens can provide several levels of garden design service to you, if you are looking to change your garden. These are dependent on how much advice you need, how much of your garden you are looking to alter and how much you are looking to spend.

If you don't want to have a complete redesign, or you are looking for a gift with a difference, a consultation is available at a cost of £100. We will come to your house for a couple of hours and discuss your garden with you. Together we will go through what you would like from your garden, what would work well, what would grow well and give you some good ideas for you to develop. We will then provide a written report with recommendations.

An outline plan is a detailed layout plan for your garden. We will take a full brief from you, survey your garden, and come up with a professionally drafted scale drawing of your proposed garden. To accompany this, a thirty page specification document will detail exactly how the garden is to be built, what the materials are - even the colour of the mortar for the walls. This will make the process of choosing a contractor much easier, as there are no areas for misunderstanding, and all quotes you receive will be based on the same high quality of build.

A more detailed set of planting plans can be drawn up for your garden, taking into consideration the specific amount of space available, the aspect, the soil conditions and the desired effect. These planting plans come with a plant schedule, which lists the plants, the number required and the size needed, which can be used either by the landscape contractor, or you can use it to order plants yourself from a nursery.

Additional services we can provide include construction plans, overseeing the construction work in your garden, sourcing the plants for your new garden, planting the plants and also providing you with a personalised maintenance schedule specific to your garden and the plants you have.
